& P.J. Merchant
Tales from Taihandria Fantasy Series
Music and magic, the stuff of a great novel! This book is wonderful! The detail in the story line, the characters and the setting all make for a fantastic fantasy read!

There is something for everyone, with political intrigue, mystery, romance and humour. The characters are believable and likeable, and the story lines are intriguing. I found myself saying “Just a few more pages....” as often as I did when I was a kid (and yawning my way through the next day as my reward for staying up too late, just as I did when I was a kid!).
Like Daram before it, Varashti weaves a complex and engaging tale about the confluence of time and magic and the transformative power of art. The authors have succeeded in conveying through detailed, satisfying descriptions the immensity of their world while still drawing us into the intimate stories of characters so well fleshed out that they feel more like friends now to the reader.

Hetty worked many years in a bookstore in Canada, and most of her wages went on acquiring as many books as possible. She has a background in English Literature and Fine Art and drinks too much tea. She has co-authored two books with P.J. Merchant, and they are working on a third book, to be released in 2020. She lives with her husband and three cats in a small Canadian city where winter never ends, thus affording her ample time for dreaming up stories.

P.J. was born in England and spent part of her childhood in India. Her family emigrated to Canada when she was still young and she has lived there ever since. She studied English Literature at University and has always loved the magic of words put together to create worlds of the imagination. She lives with her husband in the country on a lake and is still surprised to find herself liking the country life.
